almost at the finish line

Hard to believe, but I'm almost done my B.Ed. Two years have somehow gone by, and with the new spring winds of April, I'm realizing that the end is nigh ... or rather the beginning.

We went out for beers and food last night. Hurray! A well-deserved bit of decadence.

Perhaps more important than this is my yoga news. Almost one full year of yoga practice is over. I started in May of last year, and I've done 289 yoga practices. Hope to get it well over the 300 mark by April 30th.

Maybe I'll write a wee poem to celebrate all.

warm socks

fingers and toes

fresh spring pajamas

mascara running

tears

blue eyes

celebration

children harmonizing

lump sticks in my throat

as I drive away

my wee daughter says...

"you're car's goofy and silly like you, mom"
